Smart Old Woman
An older lady gets pulled over for speeding.......... Older Woman: "Is there a problem, Officer?"
Officer: "Ma'am, you were speeding."
Older Woman: "Oh, I see."
Officer: "Can I see your license please?"
Older Woman: "I'd give it to you but I don't have one."
Officer: "Don't have one? "
Older Woman: "Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving. "
Officer: "I see.......Can I see your vehicle registration papers please. "
Older Woman: "I can't do that. "
Officer: "Why not? "
Older Woman: "I stole this car. "
Officer: "Stole it? "
Older Woman: "Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner."
Officer: "You what? "
Older Woman: "His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see."
The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.
Officer 2: "Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please!" The woman steps out of her vehicle.
Older woman: "Is there a problem sir?" Officer 2: "One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner."
Older Woman: "Murdered the owner? "
Officer 2: "Yes, would you open the trunk of your car, please."
The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.
Officer 2: "Is this your car, ma'am?"
Older Woman: "Yes, of course, here are the registration papers." The officer is quite stunned.
Officer 2: "One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license."
The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a driver's license and hands it to the officer.
The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.
Officer 2: "Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner."
Older Woman: "Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

Life
Things don't always go the way they really should, I wanted to be loved, but most of all...understood
Never in my life
Did I ever know
That I will have to bear the brunt
Of holding on to myself
It must be the path that I've chosen to take, for the life I have now could not be a mistake.
For once in my life I'm happy I'm me, no longer yearning to set my soul free.
Days are again like
the morning flower
Just waiting to blossom
with the first sunlight.
And I want to fly high
With no one to hold me back
And bring the brightness back
With all I really wanted in my life

A Women's poem
A Women's poem He didn't like the curry And he didn't like the cake He said my biscuits were too hard Not like his mother used to make I didn't prepare the coffee right He didn't like the stew, I didn't mend his socks The way his mother used to do I pondered for an answer I was looking for a clue. Isn't there anything I could do To match his mothers shoe Then i smiled as I saw light One thing I could definately do I turned around and slapped him tight.... Like his mother used to do!!!!

Trip to Pondy
Last week we had been to Pondicherry, got up at 4:00 in the morning, half asleep, sat in the car and there we go. It was a nice drive when we started though it became hot and sultry at the later part of the day. We reached Pondy at around 12:30 checked in the hotel took some rest and straight away went to the beach, which actually made us forget we got up at midnight. There was a beach for which we had to take a boat ride and than we reach there (dont remember the name). But the beach was beautiful, less crowded and tamed waves. There was a watch person who kept on reminding us to be on the shore. Next day which was a sunday, we went to the Ashram in the afternoon, only to find that its closed after 12:00 on sundays. Disappointed we turned back, but never mind we again decided to head off to the beach. This time there were some students from the college in Bangalore playing volleyball, we took the best of the opportunity and joined them, though the watch person kept on howling, but we managed him pretty well. Tired we came back and went to Rendezvous, one of the better known French restaurants in Pondy, though the ambience was ok, but the sizzlers were quiet good....had a nice dinner and came back. Next day we started back home with some good memories in store.
